One of the most important things we focus on at OBF is detail

Constantly focusing on the big picture can sometimes cause people to lose focus on the small accomplishments they’re making on a daily and weekly basis.

We all have goals, big and small…but it’s always way easier to both start and accomplishes your goals when they are broken down like a set of instructions.

Here’s a set of rules that we follow to allow us as coaches to give our clients what they need in order to succeed:

5 STEP TO SUCCESS

Below is the list of all 5 steps to success described in detail:

1. Goal Setting:

To set a goal, we must first specify what the goal truly is.

This doesn’t mean wanting to lose some weight and look better.

This means wanting to drop 15lbs of body fat and fit in a pair of pants you haven’t been able to wear for 2 years. These are measurable goals that we can assess bi-weekly and monthly. This makes things much more attainable when we can set a pace, a time frame, and a step-by-step process.

2. Forms of assessment:

To assess is a powerful tool. Often not used due to the fact that people are afraid to see the truth.

This doesn’t mean stepping on a scale every single day and obsessing over the constant fluctuations in the numbers in between your toes.

This means taking a form of measurement that explains multiple variables and factors of change. Body fat calipers, DEXA scans, bi-weekly forms that go over things like energy improvements, sleep improvements, hydration improvements, sleep improvements, and of course measurements and progress photos.

3. Creating rituals:

What is your biggest obstacle? What do you have the most trouble with? Is it time management and improper prioritization of your daily tasks?

This doesn’t mean waking up and doing hand-stands for 30 minutes to reset your chakra points…

This means coming up with daily actions that you do without fail, on the same day of the week very consistently. An example would be a meal prep ritual. A lot of our clients are shown how to find time during their week, grocery shop, prep food for a busy week ahead, and even have backup plans in case they get pulled into meetings or find themselves unable to get to their next planned meal. This will ensure sustained energy and better choices nutritionally.

4. Positive attitude:

Surround yourself with people who motivate, inspire, and can guide you through a process to help you achieve something that most people deem impossible.

Nothing’s better than starting a journey with your friends. Surrounding yourself with people who want you to succeed, people who are like-minded, goal orientated, and motivated to push past their comfort zones and reach for their potential.

5. Enjoy the process:

This is all about you, finding time to work on yourself and decompress. Stopping to smell the flowers so to speak.

This simply means, patting yourself on the back from time to time. If you have trouble taking compliments or giving yourself praise for a job well done, this can start to make you feel like you’re never really moving forward. If you want to succeed, you need to set goals, smash them and then give yourself a small reward. Setting up positive reinforcement for yourself can help you to condition yourself to make powerful moves in your life over time.

So keep pushing, keep reaching, keep stretching, keep working hard on everything that is important to you.

Remember why you started.
